Introducing: Essentials Package for Small Museums

We’re thrilled to announce the Essentials Package for Small Museums – a special program for qualified museums who are looking to launch a mobile experience or in-gallery touchscreens on CultureConnect’s award-winning platform.
WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?
CultureConnect’s criteria for qualifying as a “small museum”:
- Total annual budget for your institution is less than $2 million per year as reported in your institution’s most recent IRS filing (e.g. Form 990) or Annual Report.
- Non-profit status (e.g. 501(c)3 or similar designation)
- Institution is based in the United States
Please note, CultureConnect’s criteria differs from the American Alliance of Museums’ small museum designation. While many who qualify may also be an AAM Small Museum, we find that when it comes to making technology more accessible we had to broaden and alter the definition.
IF I DON’T MEET THIS CRITERIA, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
The Essentials Package is reserved for qualifying institutions only.

- Core features for our audio tour experience or digital labels.
- Beautiful default look & feel, or make your own DIY customizations.
- Access to CultureConnect content management system to update your applications and track performance.
- Access to the CultureConnect knowledge base, customer service portal, and Essentials customer service package.
- Publish apps to the Web
- Include essential media: image & audio
- Accessibility features
Services included:
- Project Kickoff call with CultureConnect to establish your project checklist, introduce our platform, and answer any questions.
- Training on our app builder platform so that your museum team can build your app comfortably.
Special Pricing:
- No set-up fee.
- Low annual fee.
- Three-year commitment.

You can upgrade anytime to take advantage of advanced features, add-on applications or buy higher-touch service packages.
